A wall of plaques has been installed near the Carriage Shed across from Mélange at Roma Street Parkland as a lasting tribute to the outstanding achievements of Queensland Greats Award recipients.
Award recipients are named by the Premier each year in conjunction with the Queensland Week celebrations at Roma Street Parkland.
The plaques were initially located in the ‘Yellow Brick Road’ pathway near Celebration Lawn. They were relocated after a 400,000L water tank was installed under Celebration Lawn and the ‘Yellow Brick Road’ pathway was upgraded.
